We’re Going To Telluride!

We’re honored and excited! On August 1st it was announced that “Usher” would be included in the upcoming Telluride Indiefest Film Festival, happening during the Labor Day Weekend in beautiful Telluride, Colorado, Sept 1st through September 6th.

This is a great opportunity for us, since this “independent” festival runs concurrently with the much better known Telluride Film Festival. Many quality small-scale studio films are premiered there every year, and the festival is overrun with industry insiders, critics and film lovers looking for the next big thing.

Better yet, we’ll be in attendance in Telluride, for the first time present for a showing at a festival (regrettably we couldn’t make it to Oak Ridge or Key West). Roger Leatherwood, the director, will conduct a Q & A after the screening on Friday at 3 PM. Details will be forthcoming.

We’ll be there a couple of days early to meet with what press we can, and give out buttons, postcards, and anything else to try to drum up interest for our screening. We’ll be inviting all the other Indiefest winners and their entourages, to give each other support.

We’re also looking forward to seeing the other films in the festival, and supporting other indie-minded filmmakers’s efforts.

If you’re at all connected with the making of “Usher” and you think you will be able to join us in Telluride over Labor Day, please contact us as soon as possible and we can coordinate plans, lodging ideas, and game plans.
